PASSION PROJECT

An opportunity for students to invent, dream, create, and change their world.

Overview of Requirements:

Each student will have a Passion Project Journal, which they will use both at school and at home.

Think about your interests and your talents. What do you love? What are you good at? Use these truths to help guide you as you think of a topic for your project. Once you've decided on an idea that creatively combines your talents and interests, you need to "pitch it!"

What to Include

Write a one-page proposal to your teacher explaining how you can make a difference in your school, community, world, etc. with your Passion Project idea. Be sure to revise/edit your proposal before submitting it.

Your proposal needs:

  • Description of and inspiration for the project (What are you going to do and why?)

  • Explanation of how your talents or interest connect to this project

  • Research (fact and details) to support the importance of your topic

  • List of project goals

  • Details on the impact that your project will have on a community, world, or certain people group (Who will it help and how?)
